The history of the Böll company with its "Paintwork and Advertising Design" divisions begins in 1984 with the founding of the company by Bernd Böll. From this time onwards, production initially takes place in rented halls in Siegen Kaan-Marienborn.

As early as 1987, the company moved to its own premises in the Kaan-Marienborn industrial estate with an office wing and larger production halls with its own paint shop.

Thanks to the successful acquisition of new major customers, the company now also operates nationwide and in some European countries.

In 1994, the production area is further expanded by adding an additional hall and modernizing the machinery as well as expanding the vehicle fleet.

Timo Böll joined his father's company in 1999 and passed his master craftsman's examination in the sign and illuminated advertising trade at the age of 21.

In 2002, the second son, Nico Böll, joined the company. From now on, the two are each assigned their own division. Timo Böll takes over the metal construction division with the production of sophisticated illuminated advertising systems and signs of all kinds. Nico Böll is now responsible for the graphics area, such as digital printing, vehicle lettering and the individual design of shop windows and facades.

In 2007, the two brothers take over the management of the company.

Company founder Bernd Böll passes away in 2009 after a long and serious illness. Timo and Nico Böll invest in new production machinery to optimize the workflow and increase quality. This includes the purchase of a new CNC-controlled milling machine and the investment in a fully automatic CNC machine from the USA, which is used to produce 3D-formed metal letters.
