1983 Foundation of W + S AG

W + S AG emerged from the general partnership Weiersmüller + Suter, which was founded in 1980. The founders were also employees of W + S AG.

1987 - 1989 Solar mobile 'Mata-Hari'

The 'Mata-Hari' solar car was developed and realized in 1987. The Migros award for the 'Most Everyday Vehicle' at the 'Tour de Sol' was achieved thanks to a team of dedicated employees.

1990 Restructuring

Three subsidiaries were founded and a new logo introduced to make the various areas of activity visible to the outside world.

  • W + S Ingenieurbüro für Elektroplanung AG

2007 Conversion and new construction of commercial building

The property at Lindenweg 4, where the company had rented since 1985, was purchased in 1998. A planning study in 2003 was followed by a building application in November 2005, a building permit in June 2006 and construction from May to November 2007, with occupation scheduled for early 2008, just in time for the upcoming
25th anniversary.

2014 Opening of the W + S Inex AG control office

The newly established inspection office allows us to carry out independent and periodic inspections of properties and businesses. A further step towards constantly expanding our range of services and keeping it up to date.
