Eneco eMobility transfers German business to LichtBlick

Eneco eMobility has transferred its German business to LichtBlick as of April 1. Eneco eMobility Germany becomes LichtBlick eMobility. LichtBlick eMobility offers smart charging solutions for companies and municipal utilities and operates 5,000 charging points across Germany. LichtBlick is the leading green electricity provider in Germany and supplies 1.7 million people in households and businesses with clean energy.

LichtBlick and Eneco eMobility are 100% subsidiaries of the Dutch energy group Eneco. "The transfer of the German business to LichtBlick is a logical step. We see enormous synergies and growth opportunities here. After all, LichtBlick is a strong brand with a large customer base," says Leonie Baneke, CEO of Eneco eMobility in Rotterdam.

"This is a perfect fit for LichtBlick, which I am very pleased about. The electrification of transportation has only just begun. The demand for intelligent charging solutions will increase enormously. Together with our new colleagues, we will be able to offer everything from a single source in the future: From climate-neutral electricity supply for e-cars at home and on the road to integrated mobility solutions and the integration of e-cars into a virtual power plant," says LichtBlick CEO Constantin Eis. For example, companies could benefit from automated billing and manage their parking spaces profitably with charging stations.

LichtBlick eMobility GmbH will continue to operate as an independent business unit in the German market. The locations in Kitzingen and Dresden will be retained.
