The name 'Dr. Spiess Chemische Fabrik GmbH' stands internationally for a traditional specialist with a high level of expertise and a service based on partnership. In 1987, our company was founded in the course of a spin-off of the thiochemical activities from the
'C. F. Spiess & Sohn GmbH & Co' was founded as an independent company. What once started as a research project after the Second World War became a separate division in 1954. Today we are a 1001TP3 subsidiary of 'GECHEM GmbH & Co KG', which acquired its shares from 'Spiess- Urania Chemicals GmbH' in Hamburg in 2006. Since the 1950s, we have successfully specialized in the production and distribution of fine chemicals, which are used as intermediates in the chemical industry.
