It began over 30 years ago as an engineering office with experience in test equipment construction, which later became modus, a high-tech company that supplies German construction and development with test systems manufactured in-house.

Today there are several thousand inspection systems, most of which are scanner-based. This makes modus the European market leader for scanner-based AOIs.
