Over 20 years of market experience and in 2014 the time had finally come:

ProPlace GmbH "Loungers & Equipment for Physiotherapy, Wellness - SPA and Medical Practice" was founded in Munich.

The founder felt the urge for independence and his own company early on. Influenced by his commercial training and management in a medical technology company and the following years as a manager of an international medical technology manufacturer with many contacts to customers and manufacturers in the industry, the concept for his own project developed with over 20 years of industry knowledge and experience.

It was clear from the outset that the company would specialize and not act as a "vendor's tray". And since the centerpiece of every practice or facility is a table on which patients/customers are positioned during treatments, applications or examinations, "the table" was also to become a central theme of Pro Place.

I want to give my customers competent and fair advice, and that only works if you focus on selected products.

The coherent concept immediately led to well-known German and European manufacturers being willing to cooperate with Pro Place.

By working with different manufacturers, we can offer physiotherapists, doctors and wellness/SPA facilities very specific solutions to suit their requirements.

Our exhibition also helps you choose the right treatment, therapy or examination table. Sometimes the areas of application overlap or the table is intended for multifunctional use. A visit to Pro Place will show you whether and how this is possible.

Some customers hope that they can perform very different treatments on their lounger. First a manual therapy and then a relaxing wellness treatment with calm music. This doesn't always work. For example, the therapist's efficiency suffers if the couch is too soft and, conversely, the wellness customer suffers if they are asked to relax on a couch that is too firmly upholstered.

However, completely different ideas fit very well in various practices and facilities. Salt plays a major role here, in the form of bricks as a wall element or for inhalation in cabins or rooms. Light also creates a very special ambience.

Imagine lying relaxed in a beautiful room with warm light on a gray November day, breathing in the fine, salty air and feeling how your breathing becomes deeper and freer. And there is also a chance that allergic reactions will be easier to bear in spring, for example.

The success of salt inhalation in humans soon raised the question of whether salt inhalation also makes sense for animals, and in particular for horses.

Conclusion: It is! In principle, this is not a completely new idea, but we have not been entirely happy with the implementation so far. It took several attempts and development steps before we were happy with the name SALTair_cavallo We had developed a device that met our increased requirements.

Our aim was to allow the horse to inhale in its familiar environment and without a mask. This means developing a device that produces enough saline mist to be used in a normal stall, is transportable and correspondingly light, yet is stable enough for use in the stable. In the meantime, the SALTair_cavallo has been well received by riders, owners and stable owners, right up to top-class sport!

In addition to high-quality products, good advice and a serious and fair business approach, Pro Place is of course also available after the project has been successfully completed. We carry out training or service assignments ourselves or work together with competent partners.
