FROM STALK TO GLASS - REGIONAL VALUE CREATION

As a Hamburg brewery, we feel strongly rooted in northern Germany. That is why our aim from the very beginning has been to keep the added value within the region by producing locally, entering into regional partnerships and sourcing important raw materials from the region.

Since 2022, we have been growing the majority of our malting barley for our beers ourselves in close cooperation with our agricultural company on the island of Rügen and have the grain contract-malted here in Hamburg in the immediate vicinity. From there, it's a short journey to our brewing kettles here in the Schanzenhöfe.

This has brought us a big step closer to our goal of brewing a fresh, regional and sustainable beer.
