2015 - High Definition

What used to be rare and expensive is now an integral part of many events. In addition to sound and light, video is also produced in HD using our own material.

2014 - No borders

Another fifty square meters of material storage on two floors is just enough to accommodate the entire rental park. Events know no borders. The company now often travels to other European countries. The 30th anniversary is celebrated.

2012 - Training company

The Soundlight Company is not only a regional service provider, but now regularly organizes events and trade fairs throughout Germany. Due to the wide range of events, the first specialist for event technology is being trained.

2006 - Professionalization

The rental fleet now includes the entire range of live sound and lighting technology, including peripheral areas such as decorative elements, floor coverings and large-scale cabling. Even events with more than 1,000 guests can be organized entirely with our own technology, staff and fleet of vehicles.

A new focus is placed on "visual" transmission. The range of powerful video projectors and screens is expanded and "public viewing" becomes a topic at soundlight company.

2002 - The new rooms

Not only the Soundlight Company is growing, but also its sister company the-Company.de. In summer 2002, after a short bridging period, the Soundlight Company and the-Company.de open their own new customer center in a disused truck hall in Vaihingen/Enz. The technical warehouse alone covers an area of 200 square meters, some of which is multi-storey. There is also administration, a vehicle yard, social rooms and exhibition space. This will help to relieve the burden on Vaihingen city center - the city parking lot was regularly completely blocked during major loading operations.

The first larger corporate events are accompanied creatively and professionally, and the rental range is expanded to include a fun park, stage platforms and high-quality microphone systems.

1998 - Tackling and mixing things up

Audiences are changing, technology is changing, events are changing. Whereas in the past a record juggler and a simple system sufficed as the focal point of an event, the focus is now increasingly shifting to technology. Powerful and flexible moving heads are replacing long-established moonlight effects, small but time-consuming lighting trusses are staying at home, while full-blown stage constructions are forming the new technical and visual framework.

Previously a small-scale rental company and event organizer, the Soundlight Company, as it is now known, has now become a serious rental company and service provider. The simple garage becomes a double garage with an additional room, followed by a second floor, so that the 180 square meter warehouse and workshop are soon bursting at the seams.

The weekly disco on 2 ice rinks in Stuttgart is named "Germany's biggest and best ice disco" by ZDF. Tours of cities and Germany are organized with various health insurers.

1987 - The new executive floor

The new co-owner is called Markus Michels and takes over more and more of the day-to-day business of C&S Musicpower. This completes the management team, which is still responsible today.

It is the great time of "indoor discos" and live radio broadcasts - C&S is the Cult supplier with 100% atmosphere guarantee in the region. The areas of operation are expanded to include fashion shows, roller-skating discos and rock concerts, and the sphere of activity grows far beyond the country's borders. Legendary events are held from Oberstdorf to the Dutch border.

1983 - Foundation of C&S Musicpower

Tino Cafaro turns his DJ hobby into a profession and founds "C&S Musicpower". As a radio presenter for the Stuttgart youth station "Hit House Powerstation 107.7", he is often on the road in the region and starts renting out small sound and lighting systems. Cowboy boots, Dynacord speakers and monstrous color-changing spotlights for mirror balls are the most important utensils for disco parties between Stuttgart and Vaihingen/Enz.
A dance school in Vaihingen/Enz is fully supported, and a permanent collaboration with the Waldau ice rink begins.
